The international standard ISO 45001 was developed in response to the global concern for occupational health and safety in organizations and the need to establish a common framework for its management. In this context, it became essential to have a universal benchmark to evaluate organizations’ efforts to ensure reliable and adequate protection of workplace health and safety.
the operations at the Salar de Atacama and the Lithium Chemical Plant (Carmen) obtained ISO 45001:2018 certification, meeting all the requirements of the standard. The certification is valid from February 9, 2023, to February 8, 2026.
