SQM and Fundación Miradas Compartidas renewed their partnership to continue promoting the arts and sports program in Pozo Almonte, creating opportunities for participation, learning, and inclusion for children and their families. Through crochet, sculpture, and sports workshops, the initiative has already benefited more than 90 children in the community.
The initiative aims to make these activities more accessible to families in Pozo Almonte by providing free and inclusive opportunities that encourage participation and personal development. Beyond the learning opportunities offered through the different workshops, the program has also become a space for connection, where children and their families can spend time together, strengthen relationships, and feel part of an inclusive community.
Aníbal Abogabir, SQM’s Community and Public Affairs Manager, said: “We are very pleased to continue this program alongside Fundación Miradas Compartidas, which has already benefited more than 90 children in Pozo Almonte. These arts and sports workshops have made a meaningful contribution to the community, and we are encouraged by the positive response they have received from local families.”
