The 2026 Miradas Compartidas League Launched

Enthusiasm and passion for sports swept through Antofagasta and Santiago over two days of camaraderie, inclusion and joy, marking the official launch of the 2026 Miradas Compartidas League.

The league will operate year-round with monthly matches, offering consistent opportunities for young people and staff to gather and participate. The season will culminate in a grand finale in October, celebrating personal growth, camaraderie and the dedication of everyone involved.

Pedro Pablo Rivera, Deputy Manager of Recruitment and Diversity at SQM, stated: “The tournament will take place in Antofagasta and Santiago, featuring six matches in each city. SQM employees will join and observe the foundation’s work with young people in these communities.”

Similarly, Felipe Olavarria, Executive Director of Fundación Miradas Compartidas, stated: “This recreational event is designed to promote inclusion and demonstrate the company’s dedication to people with disabilities.”

Meanwhile, Felipe Donoso, an internal auditor at SQM, said: “It’s very rewarding to be part of this league, and we hope to continue participating in future games.”

Similarly, Benjamín Paredes, a participant with Fundación Miradas Compartidas, commented: “I think it’s great that this event is being held.” He added, “Representing SQM is very rewarding because it promotes inclusive sports.”
