Worldwide, we are the leading manufacturer of iodine, since the world’s largest reserves of “Caliche” (the mineral from which iodine is produced) are located in Northern Chile. Iodine and its derivatives are used in a wide range of medical, agricultural and industrial applications, as well as in human and animal nutritional products.
Through a joint venture with Ajay Chemicals, we produce organic and inorganic iodine derivatives. We are also present in the iodine recycling business in Europe, the United States and Asia.
