  • In 2023, we worked with students in 3rd and 4th grade of high school, specializing in Chemical Laboratory, who took classes once a week in our laboratories at SQM Iodine Plant Nutrition located in Coya Sur.
  • Training for professors to keep them at the forefront of the industry and strengthen the learning processes of the specialty.

Tocopilla – Mejillones

International Chemistry Day: On the “International Chemistry Day” we participated in an initiative led by ASIQUIM called “Chemical Industry Open Doors Day”, which was been held for the first time, where we could show how chemistry is present every day in the life of all Chileans.

High school students, universities, neighborhood councils and authorities were all part of this initiative. They were shown the processes, raw materials, final products, their destinations and work systems. Also, attending audiences were able to learn how these companies relate to other communities, institutions of private and public nature, and collaborate with the social and economic development of the community as well.
