Buscando contribuir en la calidad de vida de las mujeres de la provincia de El Tamarugal, SQM junto al municipio de Pozo Almonte y la Fundación Arturo López Pérez (FALP) llegaron con un operativo preventivo de mamografías acercando de forma gratuita este examen a las mujeres que anteriormente debían desplazarse a otros puntos de la región.
Mujeres de La Colonia Agrícola de Pintados, La Tirana, Pozo Almonte, La Huayca, entre otras localidades, pudieron realizarse este importante exámen cuyo objetivo es prevenir y detectar a tiempo uno de los cánceres con mayor letalidad en nuestro país.
