The international standard ISO 14001 was born as a response to global concern for the environment and the proliferation of regional environmental regulations. It is in this context that the need for a universal indicator arises, in order to evaluate the efforts of organizations to achieve reliable and adequate environmental protection.
Through this standard we seek to manage and identify the environmental risks of our industry, considering risk prevention as environmental protection, following the legal regulations and the socioeconomic needs required for compliance.
